Journey of the Heart: Pedaling Through Life's Trails with Passion and Purpose

"This is my kingdom, my canvas, my escape. This is what it means to be Kevin Letostak - a nomad on wheels, forever chasing the endless horizon"

The sunrise dapples through the leaves, painting a mosaic of light and shadow on the trail ahead. My tires hum, the rhythmic crunch of gravel a reassuring symphony. Here, on this winding path, surrounded by the scent of pines and the whispering wind, I feel truly alive. This is my kingdom, my canvas, my escape. This is what it means to be Kevin Letostak - a nomad on wheels, forever chasing the endless horizon. This trail, winding through the embrace of pines, whispering secrets with each gust of wind, is more than just a path - it's a testament to the vitality that courses through my veins, especially invigorated by the revolutionary Falco f7.7 eBike System that powers my ride.

 Kevin Letostak on the Trails

Hello, fellow trail lovers and seekers of the wind's song, I, Kevin Letostak, am reaching out to you with a heart full of passion for the winding roads and untamed trails. My spirit finds its purest expression in the art of cycling and camping, a saga I joyfully share on my modest YouTube haven, "Leave The Road Take The Trails" - a mantra inspired by the ageless wisdom of Pythagoras, and my journeys, elevated by the unparalleled performance of the Falco f7.7 eBike System.

The scent of freshly baked bread still lingers in my clothes, a poignant reminder of the past I left behind. But as I cross the Scioto River bridge, the sun glinting off the water, a different kind of warmth fills me. This is Columbus, my Columbus, a tapestry woven from childhood memories, friendly faces, and the whisper of bicycle tires on asphalt, harmoniously blended with the seamless assistance of my Falco f7.7 motor, transforming each journey into an effortless ballet of motion.

Among the laughter echoing through Goodale Park, I'd found my true family - the Impromptu Trike Riders. No stuffy meetings, no bylaws, just pure, unadulterated joy as we pedal towards the setting sun, a kaleidoscope of chrome and smiles against the fiery sky. GWNN - "Group With No Name" - sprung from my lips one morning, a perfect symbol for our bond, forged not in paperwork but in miles shared and laughter echoing through the wind, , with each pedal stroke amplified by the efficiency and power of the Falco f7.7 eBike System.

Our philosophy is simple yet profound: if you wish to ride, call out the time and place, and those who share our passion will join. In Ohio, Xenia stands as the heart of our cycling trails, a communal gathering place, just as it was during the last Cycle Con show. Nestled in my SunRay 109 tiny camper, I soaked in the trail rides and the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts, each expedition a testament to the enhanced capabilities brought by my Falco f7.7 system.

Our call went out like a slingshot stone, rippling through the community. Bikes materialized from garages and living rooms, riders erupting onto the streets like fireflies drawn to the sun. The air vibrates with anticipation in Xenia, the heart of our Ohio trails. Sunlight splashes through a mosaic of leaves, painting diamonds on the dirt paths that snake through towering oaks. Laughter dances on the breeze, mingling with the smoky aroma of grilling brats and the tang of sweat-soaked leather. I watch the camaraderie unfold from the haven of my SunRay 109, a tiny sanctuary with maps pinned to the walls and the reassuring scent of chain lube. Each shared smile, each extended hand, each triumphant shout imprints upon my soul, a testament to the transformative power of three wheels and a shared dream, elevated to new heights by the silent, powerful assistance of the Falco f7.7 eBike System.

My journey with cycling stretches back through the years, from my cherished Schwinn Sting Ray to Raleigh Professional Road bikes and an array of travel and cruiser bikes. Over two decades ago, my path veered towards recumbent bikes and trikes, from the Rans V2 and Easy Racers Gold Rush Replica to over 60 recumbent trikes, each a chapter in my story. These trikes became more than just machines; they were my companions on the road, gently used souls I lovingly restored and shared with others. Recumbents granted me the gift of prolonged rides, cradling me in comfort as I traversed endless paths.

My cycling journey isn't just measured in miles but in memories etched onto the metal frames of my steeds. Imagine a 10-year-old Kevin gripping the handlebars of his trusty Schwinn Sting Ray, a bright red rocket that propelled him to childhood stardom on the playground.

Years later, the wind sang a different tune through the spokes of my trusty Raleigh Professional. Its classic elegance carried me through sun-drenched fields and quaint villages; each pedal stroke was a verse in a poem of rustic beauty.

Then came a turning point, a chance encounter with a sleek, low-slung Rans V2. From that moment, I was hooked. It wasn't just a bike but a spaceship, whispering tales of futuristic adventures as I glided on endless asphalt ribbon.

But over time, my heart found a different kind of love in the embrace of recumbent trikes. Like my trusty "Ol' Blue," each wasn't just metal and gears but a soul entrusted to my care. I lavished them with restoration love, watching them blossom from dusty relics to gleaming companions. And on those gentle machines, cradled in comfort like a king in his chariot, I devoured endless paths, each turn a brushstroke on the canvas of my ever-evolving story.

The e-bike siren song lured me with whispers of effortless climbs and boundless horizons. My Rad Power Bikes step-thru became a trusty steed, carrying me through quiet lanes and bustling city streets, the electric hum replacing the familiar whir of chains. Then came the Catrike Dumont, a majestic beast tamed by the Bionx kit. With a surge of its electric heart, I could dance up switchbacks, leaving gasps of awe in my wake. But none compared to my beloved Ice Adventure HD FS 26, nicknamed "Horse" as in the song Horse with No Name. This wasn't just a trike but an extension of my soul. Its plush seat cradled me like a throne, the Falco f7.7 eBike System, a silent symphony of human ingenuity. On Horse, I wasn't just keeping pace with my friends; I was a comet streaking across the asphalt, the wind a chorus against my laughter. With each climb conquered, each mile devoured, Horse and I became one, forging a bond forged in speed and freedom.

The whir of electric motors now mingles with the familiar chain symphony, a testament to our evolving tribe. Remember old Joe, who swore he'd never ditch his two-wheeler? Yesterday, I saw him grinning like a kid as he mastered his first hill climb on his new e-trike, the Falco eMotor humming encouragement. Age is just a number on these trails, and passion never fades. So come, join us! Each weekend, we set off to explore the hidden meadows, where sunlight filters through ancient trees, and every twist in the path whispers promises of adventure. Let's leave the tarmac behind and paint our memories together with the vibrant hues of nature.

In this ever-evolving landscape, our community, too, has transformed. From recumbent bikes to trikes and now to electric recumbent trikes, we've 'aged in place,' adapting and evolving but never losing sight of our shared love for the trails that bind us.

So here I am, Kevin, inviting you to leave the road and join me on the trails, where every turn is a new adventure, every ride a cherished memory.

"Leave The Road, Take the Trails"

Yours truly,

Kevin
